this is not made up in a casserole population
this is not a television show
though it could be someday
this is not what’s under the twist-off cap
but you’ll look under there anyway
it’s okay my brother
this could just be honey on the nipple
but I’m afraid that might just be me
the green blades could puncture that ball if it rolled
necessary injury
home from school a semester early
out late with a girl from Harlingen
I think the line might be moving
this is not knowing what you want
homeless actors viewed through German spectacles
her earring on a pillowcase
this is not a cry for help
a sapphire political promise of lawn care
please, jesus, this is not all lower case
